Gardens and Patios

There are large gardens to the front and rear of Snowden House, both are well established with trees, flower beds, bushes and grassed areas. There are two patio areas. To the front of the property the patio is outside the kitchen, it catches the sun during the mornings and is protected by a tiled roof. It has a large brick and stone BBQ with electric assist air fan. The living-room and bunk room French windows open on to the large rear patio. There is garden furniture for the front and rear patio’s. During the installation of a new septic tank during February 2008, we found five Lee Enfield rifles, five bayonets, two large live howitzer shells, one British and one German, picks and shovels, and many other smaller items, including webbing buckles and bullets. Most are now on display around the property.
